David Lee Beaver

David Beaver, 65, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and will forever cherish the memories they shared.

David had a gentle heart and a fun-loving spirit that drew people to him. He found peace in God’s creation and felt most at home surrounded by the beauty of nature. He loved fishing, exploring the desert, and searching for unique rocks to add to his treasured collection. Whether he was outdoors or spending time with those he loved, David appreciated life’s simple gifts.

Music was one of David’s greatest passions. He loved to play the guitar, sing, and fill a room with the sound of his harmonica. Whether sharing a favorite song with family or simply playing for the joy of it, music was one of the ways he expressed himself and connected with those around him.

His faith in Jesus was an important part of his life and remained a source of hope and comfort to him. Like many, David faced personal struggles throughout his life. He carried those burdens with courage, and those who loved him always saw beyond them to the kind, compassionate man he was. He will be remembered not for the hardships he endured, but for the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the gentle spirit that remained with him through it all.

David is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Beaver; his four daughters, Sara Beaver, Chrystal Beaver, Amber Beaver, and Kari Litchford; 6 grandsons Daryl, David, Scottie, Travis, Hayden and Frankie Jr and one granddaughter Elizabeth; his sisters, Linda Tucker and Patti Allen; and his brother, Rodney Beaver. He also leaves behind extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

David’s faithful little dog, Princess Peppa, was his constant companion and brought him immeasurable comfort and happiness.

A direct cremation will take place, and a celebration of life will be held on August 17th from 4-8PM at Thompson Funeral Chapel. 926 S. Litchfield Rd

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that David’s earthly struggles are over and that he is at peace in the presence of his Savior. His memory will live on in every quiet morning by the water, every desert sunset, every treasured stone, and in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor David’s memory by spending time in nature, casting a fishing line, or extending compassion to someone facing life’s challenges.
