David Peralta Solis Jr., 90, passed away on April 24, 2026. Born on November 29, 1935, in Sun City, AZ, he was the son of David Solis Sr. and Jesus Solis. David will be remembered with deep respect for a life shaped by steadfast commitment, quiet strength, and enduring devotion to those he loved.
David was part of the first graduating class at Agua Fria High School, a distinction he carried with pride. During those years, his discipline and determination were evident both in the classroom and on the field—he held the school record for highest batting average for 25 years, batting .510, an achievement that reflected focus, consistency, and a drive to do things well.
He built his professional life in the produce industry, approaching his work with reliability and purpose. He also served as a member of the Reserves, answering a call to duty with the same steady sense of responsibility that marked so much of his life.
David shared 69 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Antonia Solis, who preceded him in death. Together, they built a family rooted in loyalty, perseverance, and love that endured through the years. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Solis.
David is survived by his daughters, Mary Silva and Allison Boothman; his son, David Solis; his brother, Eduardo Solis; and his grandchildren, Adam, Victoria, Aaron, Elizabeth, Andrew, Aubrey, Kolton, Chandler, Kendra, and Haley.
