Edward Charles Husting Jr.

Ed was born November 18, 1946 in Port Washington, WI to Edward Husting, Sr, and Sarah (Remich). He went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and an MBA. Ed married Kathleen Meyer on October 15, 1969, and their daughter Lauren was born in 1981. He served in the United States’ Army in Vietnam and was a proud lifetime supporter of veterans.

Ed loved fishing, panning for gold, collecting coins and rocks, and following his beloved Wisconsin Badger Sports teams. He showed a sense of unique, witty humor that could make friends with total strangers in a matter of minutes and kept loyal friendships with people of all ages.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Sarah, and survived by his wife Kathy, daughter Lauren, and siblings Paul and Sandy and his best friend Jamil Khan.

In lieu of flowers or gifts the family welcomes donations in Ed’s name to the Towers to Tunnels Foundation.

A memorial service with full military honors is being planned for later 2025.
