
Elaine S Mazur (nee Cebulski), of Litchfield Park, Arizona, passed away on April 3, 2026, at 70 years old. She passed peacefully with her husband and her brother at her side at Abrazo Arrowhead Hospital. Elaine was born March 14 ,1956, to Frank and Lottie Cebulski (nee Nowak) in Chicago, IL.
She was a graduate of Lourdes High School, where she was a member of the Library Club. Elaine was the loving wife of Matthew Mazur, whom she married September 11, 1982. They had a beautiful ceremony at St. Joseph's Church in Summit, IL. They shared 44 wonderful years together. They had three children, Nicholas, Amber, and Tiffany, each of whom she was immensely proud of.
Elaine was an avid quilter and had sewn from a young age. One of her favorite pieces she made was a Blue’s Clues costume, which she proudly wore on Halloween while she was a bus driver with School District 158 in Huntley, IL. Elaine loved to bake and cook. She was proud to have won multiple first place ribbons for her Snickerdoodle Cheesecake, notably at the Huntley SummerFest in 2002.
Elaine also loved to read, especially any installation in the Murder, She Wrote series. Before she retired, she was a payroll supervisor at various companies in Illinois. After retirement, she moved to Litchfield Park, Arizona. She spent part of her retirement working with her husband at Safe Management of Arizona. She was an animal lover and spent much time playing with her dog, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her father Frank, her mother Lottie, and her younger brother William (Candace). She is survived by her husband, Matthew; her children Nicholas Mazur (Amanda), Amber Albright (Matthew), and Tiffany Mazur (Jedadiah); and her brother Raymond Cebulski (Charlene). Elaine will be remembered for her love of her family, her fiery spirit, and her passionate hobbies. Her smile and humor were gifts to everyone who knew her.
