Ellen Mary Seaborne

Ms Ellen Mary Seaborne, 80 of Goodyear Arizona died in Phoenix Arizona at Hospice of the Valley, Ryan House. She was born on October 25th 1944 in Morehead City, North Carolina to Charles Rolfe Seaborne and Jane Mockly Seaborne. She grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin and attended Wayland Academy. After college Ellen taught elementary school for 20 years. She moved to Davis, California where she met Donald Wallace and started a family. Ellen decided to go to Law school and attended McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. In 1986 Ellen moved to Flagstaff, Arizona where she practiced family law for 30 years. She moved to Goodyear in 2015 and continued practicing law right up until a couple of weeks before her death.

Ellen had many hobbies she enjoyed throughout her life including painting, playing guitar, gardening, and stained-glass artwork. She loved the ocean and traveling but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Ellen is survived by her son Brian Charles Wallace (and wife Anne Wallace) and daughter Katherine Anne Emery (and husband Timothy Emery). She had five grandchildren Julian Wallace, Sarah Wallace, Gabriel Wallace, Ethan Emery (and wife Netashia Emery), and Mitchell Emery. She is also survived by sister Anne Spudis, and brothers Fredrick Seaborne, Ryan Seaborne, and Michael Boetje.

There will be a private service held for immediate family on a date to be determined.
