Ernesto Rodriguez, a beloved resident of Avondale, Arizona, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 48. He was born on August 17, 1976, in Los Angeles, California, to Julio C. Rodriguez and Leticia G. Rodriguez.
Ernesto was a devoted husband to Pearl Rodriguez, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. Together, they raised four children: Bella C. Rodriguez, Marina J. Lopez, Ernesto Rodriguez Jr., and Macario Lopez III. He was also the cherished grandfather to 11 grandchildren.
He was a kind-hearted individual who was always willing to help anyone in need. His love for his family was evident, especially for his children, wife, and grandchildren, whom he adored. Ernesto was an awesome tata, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love.
Ernesto was a member of the Majestics Car Club in Glendale, Arizona. He had a passion for fixing RC cars and was in the process of building his own 1968 Chevy Impala. His love for fixing old cars was well-known among his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Rodriguez; his children, Bella C. Rodriguez, Marina J. Lopez, Ernesto Rodriguez Jr., and Macario Lopez III; his mother, Leticia G. Rodriguez; his brothers, Julio Cesar Rodriguez and Jose Luis Rodriguez; and his 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Julio C. Rodriguez, and his grandparents, Carmen H. Armendariz and Alfonso Armendariz.
A Visitation will be held at Thompson Funeral Chapel, located at 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, Arizona, 85338, on August 24, 2025, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Ernesto will be remembered for his kindness, his love for his family, and his passion for cars. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
