Gerald Hilton Wigal, “Jerry” of Goodyear, AZ, passed away June 25, 2026, at the age of 87. He spent his final hours in his home surrounded by family. Jerry was born in Parkersburg, WV, in December 1938, a son of the late Roy D. and Garnet Wharton Wigal.
Jerry was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and Western Kentucky University. He married Beverly K. Warfield of Parkersburg, WV, in 1962. They lived in various areas: Kentucky, North Carolina, and Fairmont, WV, and in the Phoenix, AZ area since 1974, making their final home in Goodyear, Arizona. Gerald and Beverly have now been reunited for eternity.
Jerry is survived by two daughters, Kathy D. Wigal-Shafer of Gilbert, AZ, and Sheri M. Wigal Lauritano of Goodyear; four grandchildren, Gregory Emmons of Gilbert, AZ, Christopher and Victoria Lauritano of Goodyear, AZ, and Nicholas Lauritano of Hawaii.
