

He was born on September 19th to Cecil J. Mangham and Ruby (Flynt) Mangham. Jerry was a loving brother, son, and friend.
After graduating from Anaheim High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy on June 24th, 1965. He proudly served until August 11th 1969, attaining the rank of Machinist Mate 2. During his service, Jerry was deployed to a Naval submarine in Hawaii as a Machinist Mate 2 in the Nuclear program.
Jerry was known for his love of animals, generous heart, and amazing knowledge. Jerry loved anything trees and especially feeding his feral cats. He generously supported the no kill shelters around the West Valley.
He is survived by his siblings Rana Schultz, Vivian Mangham, Rene Mobley, Kathy Ball. He was preceded in death his parents and his sister, Connie Zobel.
A memorial service will be held at Thompson's Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 4:00 pm. It will be an open house type of service where sharing stories and favorite memories is encouraged.
