With hearts full of sorrow and gratitude, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Judith Emily Caviolo, who was called home to God on Good Friday, April 18th, 2025, at the age of 83. That she entered eternal rest on such a sacred day brings a profound sense of peace and reflects the deep faith she carried throughout her life. A woman of quiet strength, grace, and enduring love, Judith was the heart of our family and a shining example of what it means to live faithfully and fully.
Born on February 21, 1942 in Berwyn, IL, Judith (Judy) lived each day anchored in her faith steady and unwavering; not just something she practiced, but something she lived through her kindness, compassion, and the way she treated everyone around her. She found purpose in her time studying the bible and attending Mass, or volunteering with and through the Church, always drawing strength from her relationship with God. She found joy in life's simple blessings - time with family and friends, keeping an active lifestyle, and especially the sight of cardinals, which brought her a sense of wonder and delight. She loved their vibrant presence and saw them as a reminder to pause and appreciate the beauty in the world.
Family meant everything to Judy. She was most content when surrounded by those she loved. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and love - a place where every holiday, birthday, or simple Sunday afternoon felt special because she was at the center of it.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Peter, and there is much comfort in knowing they are reunited for eternity. She is survived by her loving children - Jim (Juliana), Matt (Mary), Christine (Dan), Diana (Robert), Jackie (Denis), and Steve (Kate) and her cherished grandchildren: Nick, Anthony, Rachel, Emily, Timothy, Claire, Matthew, Dylan, Cassidy, Preston, Lucas, and Audri. She is also survived by her siblings, Marie and Carl, along with many dear friends, all of whom carry her spirit and love with them always.
A celebration of Judy's life and faith will be held on June 6th, 2025 at 10:00am, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. All who knew and loved her are welcome to join us in honoring her memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Cure Alzheimer's Fund as a reflection of her generous and giving spirit.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
