Karen Kelly Barnes

Karen Kelly Barnes of Goodyear, Arizona, formerly of Ossining, New York and Southport, North Carolina, died peacefully at Hospice of the Valley in Surprize on August 10, 2026. Karen was born May 21, 1943 in Tarrytown, New York to Donald C Kelly and Marianne B. Kelly. Karen is survived by her husband of 24 years, Thomas G. Barnes, two daughters from a prior marriage to Albert W. Reagan, Kelly A. Brown (Chad) of Fayetteville, Georgia and Kathleen A. Lynch (Greg) of Temecula, California a brother, Donald C. Kelly ( Ermagene) of Dublin Ohio 2 nieces, 5 grandchildren and a great, great grandson. Karen graduated fro Ossining High School in 1961. Karen earned her B.S. from SUNY Oswego in 1965 and her M.S in Ed. from Queens Colleg. Karen held teaching credentials from several state and was an elementary school teacher for more than 20 years. Karen enjoyed cruising the Carrivvean island and the California coast as well as playing golf with er husband Tom. Karen will be missed by her family and friends.
