Larry DeSino, 81, of Litchfield Park, Arizona, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, in Surprise, Arizona. He was born on June 2, 1945, in Rochester, New York, to Thomas and Behlah DeSino. Born and raised in Rochester, Larry remained proud of his roots throughout his life and was a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology.
Larry built a distinguished career in the printing and pre-press industry. Early in his career, he worked for Kodak before later joining a private pre-press company, where he rose to the position of Executive Vice President. He was highly respected and admired by those who worked with him. Larry led with patience, compassion, professionalism, diplomacy, and grace. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together, offer thoughtful guidance, and make those around him feel valued.
Larry was equally accomplished away from the office. An avid golfer, he enjoyed the game and was just as successful on the golf course as he was in business. He approached life with the same determination, good humor, and gracious spirit that defined his career.
To those who knew him best, however, Larry’s greatest accomplishments were the relationships he built and the love he gave his family. He was a wonderful role model, a trusted source of advice, and a man with a fantastic sense of humor. His wisdom often came wrapped in one of his many memorable “Larryisms.” Among his signature pieces of advice was the simple reminder: “Sunscreen and dental floss.” Those words, like so many of his sayings, will undoubtedly continue to be passed down through the generations.
Larry shared 49 loving years of marriage with the woman he adored, Tynette. Their devotion to one another was a beautiful example of love, partnership, and commitment. He was a loving father to his children, Laura Caldwell and Rob DeSino (Donna), and a beloved grandfather to Lauren, Brittany, Audrey, Riley, and Torey. He was also a cherished great-grandfather to Landyn, Lawson, Caden, and Lainey.
Larry will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Tynette DeSino; his children, Laura Caldwell and Rob DeSino (Donna); his brother, Harvey (Marlene), Shawn (Brenda); his grandchildren, Lauren, Brittany, Audrey, Riley, and Torey; and his great-grandchildren, Landyn, Lawson, Caden, and Lainey.
Larry leaves behind much more than memories. He leaves the lessons he taught, the laughter he shared, the wisdom he offered, and the love he gave so generously. His family and friends will carry his humor, his advice, his grace, and his “Larryisms” with them always.
He was, and always will be, deeply loved.
