Lemond Lee Teter, age 81, passed away on March 27, 2026. Born on September 10, 1944, Lee was beloved, devoted, faithful, hard-working, kind-hearted, brave, cherished, compassionate, gentle, and humorous—someone whose presence brought comfort and whose spirit lifted the people around him. Lee was a resident of Avondale, Arizona.
Lee worked as a security guard, a role that reflected his steady, hard-working nature and his quiet commitment to looking out for others.
A faithful believer of Jesus Christ, the son of God, Lee lived with a Pentecostal faith that helped shape his outlook and the way he cared for those around him. His life carried a gentle strength—brave in hardship, compassionate in everyday moments, and devoted to what mattered most.
Lee found joy in simple, meaningful pleasures. He enjoyed watching old western movies and listening to gospel, oldies but goodies, and country and western music. At family get togethers, he especially loved dancing—sharing laughter, warmth, and a little of his humorous spark with everyone nearby.
Lee was preceded in death by his father Everett, Mother Dorothy, his first wife Elsa, and second wife Sandy, as well as three siblings: Shirley, Melvin, and Cecil.
Lee is survived by his son Joseph; his sister Ella; nephews Arnold and Gary; nieces Melinda, Mimi, and Michele; as well as many great and great great nephews and nieces. His memory remains cherished, and his life will be remembered with gratitude, love, and uplifted hearts.
