Leslie Leon Quarles, 66, of Buckeye, Arizona passed away on April 23rd, 2026. Leslie, or better known as Les, was born on October 21st, 1959 to George and Shirley Quarles. He was the youngest of 7 kids. In his early life, he moved to various states before finally moving to San Diego, California where he would find the love of his life, Janet Duprey. They would marry and go on to parent two children, Waylen and Cody Quarles.
After dedicating 43 years of his life to Volkswagen, Les and Janet would retire together to Buckeye, Arizona where he would live his final years at. Les enjoyed auto racing, cheering on the San Diego Padres, tending to his plants, and most of all, building Lego sets. He Loved his wife and sons very much. He will be remembered as a very funny, witty, stern gentleman who was a great husband, father, and brother.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Janet Quarles, His two sons Waylen and Cody Quarles, and His sister and brother Shari Lippman and Gaylen Quarles.
