

Lisa Beth Seiberling died suddenly on New Year’s Eve day. Lisa was born on October 18, 1961 in Rockford, Illinois to Jean Folk Seiberling and Dale Allen Seiberling, both deceased. She was a retired Columbus city school teacher who was much beloved by her students.
Lisa was a graduate of Indiana University and held a masters degree from The Ohio State University.
Lisa was an extremely gifted teacher who took great interest in all of her students. She was a mentor to many and wanted them to succeed. She attempted to instill a love of learning in each child. She tried to teach them to make good decisions. Many of her former students stayed in touch with her for years, even decades, after they graduated.
Lisa loved her family and especially her nieces, nephew and her grand niece and nephews. She was very involved in their lives and guided many of them in making decisions about their education. She was a wonderful cook and loved entertaining. She was an excellent photographer,documented many family experiences. She liked to travel, loved sports - especially her beloved Indiana Hoosiers, loved rocks, wood, plants, water sports, small cars, her home, and crafting. She was a very good friends to so many and they loved her back.
She is survived by her sisters Leslie Kay Olson (Robert) and Lynda Lee Chambers (Robert), her nieces Kellie K. Healy (Damien), Maggie M. Seed (Mike), Elizabeth C. Matunis (AJ), nephew Daniel Olson (Savanna) and six great grand nephews and a grand niece.
A celebration of her life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of your choice.
