Born on February 17, 2021, in Singapore, Marianne brought immeasurable joy, laughter, and love to everyone who knew her. Though her time on earth was far too brief, her bright spirit and precious memories will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
Marianne embraced life with wonder and excitement. She loved watching Baby Shark and Ms. Lolo & Friends, singing her favorite nursery rhymes, and enjoying sweet treats, especially chocolate ice cream and candy. She especially loved chocolate ice cream and could often be found sneaking into the freezer for a little stolen treat. Whenever she was in the middle of her caper, she would often sing “Johny Johny Yes Papa,” bringing laughter to those around her.
She delighted in simple childhood joys, including playing “Ring Around the Rosie,” riding carnival rides, and being thrown into the air by her father, Patrick, who affectionately called her “his little lady.” Marianne loved pretending to follow her mother's skincare routine and enjoyed experimenting with nail polish and makeup. She treasured her stuffed animals making sure they were safely buckled into their seats during car rides. Each night, she bathed them and carefully tucked them into bed.
Fearless and adventurous, Marianne loved exploring every corner of the playground and eagerly helping in the kitchen. Her favorite foods included angel hair pasta, bacon, chicken nuggets, and chocolate milk. Family pizza nights were always filled with laughter, as everyone had to keep a close eye on their slices because Marianne was known for stealing every piece of pepperoni she could reach.
Marianne attended Easton Preschool at Fairlawn, where she loved going to school each day and spending time with her teachers and friends.
She is survived by devoted parents, Patrick Ryan Brutsche of Buckeye, Arizona, and Hera Mae Brutsche of Virginia Beach, Virginia; loving brothers, Peter and Louis Brutsche; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Suzanne Brutsche of Goodyear, Arizona; maternal grandparents, Noel and Marilou Cabatingan of Virginia Beach, Virginia; great-grandparents, Cecil and Evelyn Casper of Wickenburg, Arizona, and Jose Hermosilla of Virginia Beach, Virginia; aunt, Hannah Reyes (Edward) of Laveen, Arizona; uncles, Jose Cabatingan of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Joe Marlo Cabatingan (Arneza) of the Philippines; and many other family members who will cherish her memory always.
