Michael J. McCullion, 86, of Buckeye, died on April 29, 2013. He was born on December 23, 1926 in Youngstown, Ohio to Michael and Rose Ann McCullion. He was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Insurance Union of America, the Democrat Precinct Committee, and the Ursuline Boosters. He was the 1st ward councilman for 10 years, the President of City Council for 4 years, and the Registrar for the State of Ohio for 8years. He was under the administration of Governor Richard Celeste. He worked for John Hancock LIC for 30 years. He was also a member of St. Henry Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Alma Jean Vrabel McCullion; daughter Nancy Ann Stiver; and two grandchildren, Gerald and Kevin Stiver; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Rose Ann (McGovern) McCullion; sister Mary McCullion Murphy; brothers Bartley, Joseph, Charles, and Robert McCullion. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 4th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd. in Goodyear. In honor of Michael McCullion, donations can be made to Ursuline H.S.
