Nathan R. Foster

Nathan Foster, A cherished husband, devoted father, beloved brother, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on January 17, 1973, in South Bend, Indiana, Nathan was the much-loved son of Dorothy May (Wills) Foster and Clyde Foster, Jr. Both of whom preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by his dear sister, Audrey (Foster) Betts.

Nathan's journey through life was marked by his unwavering commitment to family and friends. He shared a loving marriage of 28 years with his wife, Raquel (Lacy) Foster, whom he married on September 6, 1997. Together, they nurtured and raised their wonderful daughter, Dallace Foster, who was the light of Nathan's life.

An Alumnus of Lasalle High School's Class of 1991, Nathan went on to forge a successful career as a machinist, tool and die maker. His dedication and determination led him becoming a business owner. Nathan's work was a testament to his intelligence and determination.

Nathan's love for football and golf was matched only by his devotion to his family and friends. He was a true football guru, relishing the camaraderie and joy that the game brought into his life. Beyond his professional and sports interests, Nathan found pleasure in spending quality time with his family and traveling with those close to his heart. His presence was a source of security, comfort and joy, and his selfless nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

Nathan was a man whose actions spoke louder than his words. He was known for his selflessness, always giving more than he ever asked for in return. His quiet strength and genuine kindness left an undeniable mark on everyone he encountered.

In addition to his wife and daughter, Nathan is survived by his brother, Clyde T (Desiree), nieces, nephews, several cousins and friends who were like family. His legacy of love and generosity will forever inspire those he leaves behind. Nathan Foster's life was a testament to love, dedication, and quiet strength. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
