Merced is survived by his wife, Ameila Hernandez, his daughter; Khristina Reyna (Arnold Reyna), his sons; Mark Hernandez (Katherine Hernandez,) Dave Hernandez (Sheila Hernandez,) and Richard P. Hernandez (Cecilia Hernandez). He is also survived by his twenty-four grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 South Litchfield Road, in Goodyear, Arizona.
