She is survived by her daughter Wendi Yocum, sons Allen Yocum and James Yocum, her siblings Dennis, Jeff, and Sandra, and four grandchildren Ashlei, Zackary (Taylor-Mayre), Robert (Taylor), and Dallas. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren: Erik, Penelope, Jensen , and Bentley, with one more on the way in July.
Phyllis graduated from Peoria High School. She was involved with the Navy Veterans association. In her free time, she enjoyed rooting for any sports team from Detroit, Michigan. Phyllis's proudest achievement was her family. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren more than anything in the world.
Phyllis was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Her passing leaves a great hole in our world.
