The family of Ronald Frank, age 80, of Litchfield Park, Arizona, announces his passing on January 21, 2025. Ronald was born on January 10, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, to Henry Frank and Bernice Leipart. Raised in the Pullman area of Chicago, he was the youngest of his siblings.
Ronald proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, dedicating two years of his life to his country. Upon returning home, he began a career at RR Donnelly’s and Sons in Chicago, where he worked as a proofreader until his retirement in 2011.

Ronald was married to Katherine Marie Frank for 48 years, until her passing in 2021. Their love was a shining example of devotion, and he often spoke of her as the love of his life.
He is survived by his four children: Katherine “Kitten” Boomsma, Tamatha (Brian) Penney, John (Nancy) Boomsma, and Jerry (Ann) Boomsma. Ronald was also the proud grandfather of five grandchildren: David Boomsma, Ronald Penney, Angelina Penney, Abigail Penney, and Ainsley Penney.
