Rose attended & graduated Harlendale High School in San Antonio, TX. She was a proud member of the Harlendale Band and Pep Squad. Years after graduation she moved to Northern California where she started her family and had her 4 children. She resided there until 1995 when she moved herself and her family in Parker, AZ. Rose made many friends once in Arizona with her full of life, loud and funny personality. She spent several years working at La Paz Regional Hospital where she spent time in various departments. Rose loved to sing along to her favorite songs and dance until her feet hurt. She loved cooking and was very good at whipping up great meals. Her love for her children, grandchildren, friends and family ran deep and knew no bounds. She was given the nickname Momma Rose, because she truly loved so many as a mother would love their own child. She will be remembered for her loud laugh, her big personality and the unconditional love she gave to everyone. Rose definitely left her mark on this world and in the hearts of many people. Therefore, she will live on, because she is truly unforgettable.
She is survived by her daughter, Tatiana Jonguitud, sons, Jose Sanchez and Steven Sanchez, brothers, Edward Muraida and Ignacio Rivera, and five grandchildren, Tina Flores, Reina Sanchez, Serenity Solis, Dorian Jonguitud, and Amikka Jonguitud. Rose is preceded in death by her sisters, Eloise Carmona and Olive “Terry” Deleon, mother, Olive Muraida, and son, Refuglo “Bola” Ibarra.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Chapel.
