Savannah Rose Dew, beloved daughter, mother, sister, cousin, granddaughter and friend, passed away July 31st, 2024, at the age of 26, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and generosity. Savannah is survived by her son Ky Smith; her parents Christine and Alban Gonzales and Danny Dew; her siblings Sarah, Casey, Elizabeth and Alban Jr.; her sister-in-law Brittany; her boyfriend Jimmie Smith, her grandparents JoAnn Goodrich and Claude and Linda Dew, and her cousins Natalie, Ryan, Desirae and Abby.
Savannah was preceded in death by her grandfather Steve Goodrich, and her favorite aunt Julie Gregory.
Savannah’s early life was marked with creativity and a love of music, she played the guitar and participated in singing groups throughout her childhood and preteen years, often performing solo numbers until her freshman year of high school. She is fondly remembered as a passionate musician who enjoyed serenading to everyone she knew.
Savannah was well known for her high standards of self-care and her beauty regiment which often included having her nails done, salon visits for her hair, and a meticulous make-up routine. Ever feminine, she took pride in her appearance and made sure to look her best head to toe, even if it meant arriving late to planned events.
A beautiful soul inside and out, Savannah is lovingly remembered as a generous, kind, and charismatic person. Armed with an infectious laugh, incredible sense of humor, magnetic personality, and a radiant and contagious smile which led her to make friends easily wherever she went. Savannah loved her family and friends deeply, she was well known for giving the biggest and warmest hugs and also for her knack for giving the people she loved their own unique nickname. She leaves a legacy of authenticity, fierce loyalty, and open-hearted acceptance of others.
A visitation for Savannah will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, Arizona 85338, followed by a memorial service at 10:00 AM.
