Song Cha "Barbara" Lee

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Hi Sung Lee, her daughters Mary Neubauer and Julia Wallace, and her son Jerry Adasiewicz. She is also survived by her mother, Hoo Nam Song, six cherished grandchildren—Kayla, Natalie, Breanna, Garrett, Jared, and Danielle—and three great-grandchildren, Emerson, Gianna, and Kreed. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Jong Chul Lee.

Barbara was a warm, loving and caring person, always greeting everyone with a smile. She owned and operated a successful cleaning business for many years, often turning business clients into lasting friendships. Barbara’s greatest achievement however was raising her family, teaching them to be as kind, generous and respectful as she was.

Frequently, you would walk into her home with the smell of Korean food being prepared. She would welcome her family with a hug and kiss before gathering them around the table, her love going into each of the many dishes that she’d prepared. She would always say “eat more”, and you were sure to be sent home with plenty of leftovers after each visit. Barbara’s favorite time of year was Christmas, she loved to host and decorate the home making it special for the entire family. For Barbara, seeing her family was most important, as she wanted her children and grandchildren around as often as possible. Barbara will be greatly missed and though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on in our hearts.
