One of his greatest wishes was to enjoy the Arizona sunshine with his own backyard pool, and he was grateful to see that dream come true.
He graduated from Shoreline High School in 1966 and went on to build a long and meaningful career with the telephone company through its many name changes. He retired after more than 25 years of service, having built lifelong friendships along the way.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Kay; his daughters Jamie (husband Quinn) and Ginger (husband Jeff); his grandsons Nathan, Garrett, Owen, and Stuart, of whom he was immensely proud; his brothers James (wife Suzie) and Chris (wife Karen); his in-laws Carol and Len Evans; and many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and extended family.
He spent many years attending UW Husky football games and Seahawks games and especially treasured going to Seattle SuperSonics games with his brothers. He also enjoyed sports-filled happy hours with friends, bowling league nights, and, most of all, spending time with his grandsons, whom he adored and was deeply proud of.
He will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
