

Valentine Meneva of Goodyear, Arizona passed away June 4, 2024 in Billings, MT at the age of 68. He was born February 14, 1956 in Pago Pago, American Samoa to the late Falefia Ene and Siniva Muafono. He was also preceded in death by his sister Milatele Ene, brother Meneva Ene, and sister Milaneta Pipili Feauai.
He is survived by his wife Careign Ene; daughters Valerie Ene Espina and Genevieve Ene; sons Derek Ene Espina, Ezra Ene, Gordon Ene, and Thomas Ene. He is also survived by his sisters Ta’eanoali’i Save, Lomaga Salevalasi Ualotu Meafeu and Ta’afulisia Ualotu Ioane; brothers Palauni Ene, Falefia Ene Jr, and Manuia Savea, as well as six grandchildren, Toa, Tony, Talia, Elly, Avery, and Rue, his extended family and friends.
Valentine was born and raised in American Samoa. He graduated from Fagaitua High School before pursuing further education at Skyline College in San Bruno, CA.
Valentine proudly served his country in the US Army, embodying dedication and patriotism throughout his service. A devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he found solace and strength in his faith, enriching the lives of those around him with his steadfast beliefs.
For the past 17 years, Valentine dedicated himself to a career as a truck driver, demonstrating unwavering work ethic and reliability. Beyond his professional endeavors, he was a gifted basketball player, showcasing his athletic prowess and competitive spirit on the court. In quieter moments, he found joy in playing pool, indulging in reading, and singing.
Above all, Valentine was cherished for his role as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Providing unwavering support and boundless love to his family. His presence in their lives will be deeply missed, but his legacy of strength, love, and commitment will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Valentine leaves behind a legacy of resilience, faith, and love. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
