

Wayne Eric Walls, 57, of Litchfield Park, passed away on August 16th, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born on April 21, 1969, Wayne lived a life marked by honor, generosity, and a deep devotion to family and friends.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Leigh Walls; his children Natasha Walls, Brittney Walls, Jayden Walls, and Taytum Walls; his grandchildren Malachi and Mordecai Love; his siblings Don Walls, Keith Walls, and Sheila Walls; his mother Katie Walls; his stepdaughter Morgan Holt; and his mother‑in‑law Marie Campbell, all of whom will forever cherish his memory.
He was known for his determination and integrity—qualities that shaped every part of his life. Wayne found joy in traveling, attending concerts, playing flag football, and spending simple, meaningful time with his five beloved cats, passions that brought him happiness and connection throughout his life.
Wayne proudly served over ten years in the United States Army, working as an active‑duty tanker during Desert Storm. He completed his service with an honorable discharge at the rank of Staff Sergeant, earning numerous awards and honors that reflected his courage, leadership, and unwavering commitment to his fellow soldiers.
Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Abe Walls Jr., and his brother Tony Walls.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 South Litchfield Road, Goodyear, Arizona on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Service Honoring Wayne's life at 6:00 pm.
Burial will take place at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 10:30 am.
