Alberto Fernandez, 81, of Orlando, went to be with Jesus on November 30th, 2013. He was born in Cuba, August 11, 1932 to Ramon and Rosario Fernandez. He loved and cherished his wife Maria Fernandez, which he married on January 10, 1957. Alberto is survived by three children: Albert of Ocoee, FL; Ruben of Viera, FL; and Mary Ellen Eaton of Warrensville, NC. He also is survived by ten grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Alberto served in the Cuban military before their infamous revolution and in his foresight and wisdom, brought his family to the United States. He and the family are forever grateful to America for the opportunities and freedoms available in serving and worshiping God, raising his family in freedom, and achieving his entrepreneurial pursuits and job skills. Alberto was an active member of First Baptist Church of Central Florida. He also enjoyed playing his guitar. The funeral is at Woodlawn Memorial Park on 12-03-13 at 12:00 pm, with visitation starting at 11:00 am.
