On Sunday, August 28, 2022, the angels of Mercy and Grace visited Alfred L. Stanford. God said, well done my good and faithful servant, your work here is done, and called him to his eternal home in Heaven.
Alfred L. Stanford was born in Lynbrook, Long Island, New York on March 31, 1935. He was the third child of five born to Burry Stanford and Pearl Stanford.
Alfred is preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers and two sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Ruth Stanford; his two daughters: Sharlene Stanford, Shantalle Bevan; his son-in-law: Scott Bevan; and his grandchildren: Sophia Rose Stanford Bevan, and Samuel Scott Bevan.
Alfred’s life will be honored on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Grace Bible Church, 801 Dorscher Road, Orlando, Florida 32818. A viewing will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, followed by a funeral service from 11:00am to 12:00pm. An interment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734.
