In loving memory, Anthony S. Montgomery went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 14th. A beloved son and brother. Born on June 9, 1962 in Chicopee Mass. He was blessed with the opportunity to see many parts of the United States and Europe.
Having grown up in a military family led to strong belief in God and country, leading Anthony to join a new family in the Navy. From the Orlando naval training center in 1980, to sea school at Great Lakes , to the USS Forrestal and back to Orlando where his final tour as a naval corpsmen at the training center came to an end as a result of a tragic accident that left him paralyzed, in 1984.
He leaves behind , his mother and father (Rita and Ken Gazaway), two brothers (Kevin Gazaway and Robert Montgomery), sister (Elizabeth Doane), sister-in-laws (Lisa Gazaway and Diana Henderson) as well as several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Quadriplegia never stopped “the heart and soul of this family”, who will terribly be missed.
