

He obtained an undergraduate degree in Puerto Rico and went on to complete a Master’s degree in Public Administration and another Master’s degree in Business. Antonio is a Korean War veteran of the United States Army and later became a hospital administrator for 32 years in Puerto Rico, where he retired on March 7, 1979.
Antonio was a loving husband, wonderful father, and loyal friend. He was known for being a compassionate and honest man who loved playing dominos and watching sports.
Antonio is survived by: his loving wife, Ava Luisa Rivera; sons, Antonio Rivera Jr. and Javier Rivera; brother, Eliseo Rivera; sisters, Blanca Iris Foreman and Nelida Reed; and grandchildren, Ben Rivera, Isabella Rivera, and Sara Rivera.
Services for Antonio will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00pm, with a funeral service at 12:00pm, and a committal service to follow.
