

Mrs. Beulah Ellis was born to the late Maude and John Anthony Shaw in Birmingham, AL on March 25, 1933. She was youngest of 6 children. She attended Our Lady of the Immaculata Conception Catholic school and graduated with honors. After high school, Beulah was accepted to Collins Chapel Nursing College in Memphis, TN.
Back home, during a school break, Beulah met her soulmate on a blind date – Benjamin P. Ellis, an Airman in the Air Force. After a short courtship, she married Benjamin and relocated to Orlando, FL. From this union, 6 children were born.
After 24 years of traveling around the country, they decided to make Orlando their home again. Once the children were older, Beulah worked in security at Orlando International Airport and later became an admin assistant with the US Post Office. Beulah enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing bingo, traveling, and hosting family dinners.
Beulah is survived by 6 loving children, Rhonda Ellis – Houston, TX, Tudy Ellis – Orlando, FL, Kevin Ellis – Orlando, FL, Vicki Lyons (Ricky) – Augusta, GA, Deidre Parker – Maitland, FL and Benjamin Ellis (Ellie) – Orlando, FL.
Her 12 Grandchildren Monique Collins, Danielle Ellis, Nicole Ellis, Erica Legette, Corey McCall, John Anthony Ellis, Brandi Ellis, Ta’Juana Lyons, Ricky Lyons, Rickia Allen, Nelson Parker, and Caleb Ellis.
Her 9 Great-grandchildren, Luc Bauduy, Jahmal Legette, Decory McCall, John Ellis, Ben Ellis, Aayanna Tolbert, Aaryan Tolbert, AaMere Tolbert, and Michael Lyons.
Her 1 Sister, Annie Maude Martin, Birmingham, AL; Along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents Maude and Anthony Shaw, her husband, Benjamin P. Ellis; brother: John Anthony Shaw; sisters: Alice Tarrance, Nettie M. Nabors and Thresa Williams
A visitation will be held on October 4, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, located at 4545 Anderson Rd, Orlando, FL 32812.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
A committal service is scheduled for October 4, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734.
