Boodnie Baijnauth

Boodnie Baijnauth, 97, of Ocoee, Florida, peacefully passed away on April 27, 2026. Born in Berbice, Guyana, on January 30, 1929, Boodnie married Bhojnauth in 1946. A devoted mother and extraordinary homemaker, she poured her heart into raising her children and tending to her home. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and the wonderful meals she cooked for those she loved.

She was the mother of Dolly (late Willy), Prabhu (Claudette), Ram (Sheila), Jas (Ramlall), Vedo (late Sam), Latchman (Devika), late Bharat, Shanta (Seeyu), Seenauth (Nelly), Sabita, Deo (Sandy) and Jai (Sharda). As well as, late Galo, late Bodie, Renee, late Wattie, Shyam (Herowattie) and late Chris.

She was the grandmother of Harry, Sheila, Mala, Danny, Urmilla, Raj, Naresh, Sadesh, Kavita, Omesh, Ranjeeta, Dave, Sadhna, Vivekanand, Hema, Chuvika, Malini, Donna, Videsh, Natasha, Gavin, Jerry, Mahendra, Alvin, Kevin, Kristen, Vishram and 35 others.

She was the great grandmother of Aaron, Anthony, Adreon, Alex, Christina, Christopher, Andy, Brianna, Ashley, Austin, Amanda, Karishma, Sachin, Shiv, Ravin, Shanina, Kyle, Riley, Lucas, Jaxon, Wesley, Vishan, Anthonie, Andrue, Ashton, Aiden, Abigail, Roshan, Rivaan, Zayed, Sahana, Divya, Alysha, Amelia, Aryana, Leanna, Liam, Julian, Arun, Shiva and 70 others.

Boodnie was preceded in death by her siblings, Kayza, Noon, Basil, Seelal, Bethlyn and Soogie.

Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on May 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on May 2, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:45 am.

A Religious Ceremony will be held at Woodlawn Crematory, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on May 2, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
