Carlos C. Irizarry

Carlos C. Irizarry Vega, 83 ,of Orlando, Florida, passed away October 5, 2013. The funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at noon at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home located at 400 Woodland Cemetery Road, Gotha, Fl 34734

Carlos was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico on the twenty second of October 1929. Upon high school graduation he attended Colegio de Agricultura y Artes Mecanicas where he obtained a degree in Civil Engineering. He worked for the Government of Puerto Rico until retirement.

He loved to cook, read, and enjoyed the frequent travel required by his job.

Carlos also served in the USA Army as a Unit Commander. He was stationed in Fort Lewis, Seattle.

He is survived by his wife Ana Consuelo Irizarry, sons Carlos and Alex Irizarry, daughter in law Marisa Gonzalez, step-son Carlos Almodovar, step-daughter Edna DelToro and her husband Franklin Del Toro. His grand daughters Marlexi, Leximar, Angelica, Melissa, Karen and Diana along with five great grandchildren will miss his kind and loving soul as will neighbors and friends.
