Carolyn Faye Leddy

Carolyn Faye Leddy, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in Albertville, MN. Carolyn was born August 22, 1934, in Fort Meade, Florida to Dan and Rebecca (Thompson) Douglas. She was the youngest of ten children.

On April 20, 1968, Carolyn married the love of her life, Walter Leo Leddy in Orlando, Florida. They were married for 52 wonderful years. Carolyn enjoyed traveling, playing dominos, doing word puzzles and being with family and friends. Most of all, she enjoyed being Tutu to her grandchildren. Carolyn was a legal secretary for many years. She was also the secretary for Good Shepherd Catholic church for 17 years.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walt; her parents, Dan and Rebecca Douglas; and her siblings; Ethel, Zelma, Lessie, Jean, Melva, Minnie, Tom, Francis, and Danary.

She is survived by her loving children; Tim Leddy and Trish (Rick) Kosey and grandchildren; Michael and Rebecca. She also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha, FL from 6pm to 8pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Orlando FL at 12 noon with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association.
