He was born in Clarinda, lowa, January 2, 1935. Charles graduated from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana, with a Bachelors Degree in business, majoring in accounting. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1956. He was the Chief Operating officer of the Root Company located in Daytona Beach, Florida for 30 years. Charles was a man of honor and integrity who loved and faithfully served his God. His servants heart, winning smile and quick wit will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife Dennie, to whom he was married 66 years, his daughter, Diane Rossi, his brother, Robert Cohoon, his granddaughters, Anne Marie Williams, Elizabeth Butler, and two great granddaughters, Carina and Adalee Williams.
