Chuck Horvath, age 63, passed away unfortunately on September 14th, 2020. Chuck grew up in Akron, Ohio and met Patti at Akron Children’s Hospital in 1987. A little over a year later, Chuck and Patti were married and eventually had two daughters named Ashley and Ariana. He was a very loving husband who also loved animals and let his wife rescue pets for their family throughout the years. Throughout their marriage, they’ve enjoyed spending time together by having fun at theme parks, traveling to new places, fine dining, and drinking cocktails by the beach.
As well as being a great husband, Chuck was also a very goofy, caring, and charismatic Father for his two little girls with a wicked sense of humor on him. Because of Chuck and Patti’s witty personalities and banter, the family was always filled with sarcastic humor and inside jokes, creating constant laughter in the household. Something his loved ones always admired about him was his passion for cooking. His absolute favorite food he cooked was Hungarian food. These authentic recipes were passed down from his sister (Barb), his mother (Helen), and his grandmother (Tal). There’s a saying that says, “Kitchens are made for bringing families together,” and it’s safe to say that Chuck did a phenomenal job at that.
Chuck was a sales manager for various funeral home/cemetery companies for over 30 years. He took delight in helping families through tough times. He was always a very compassionate man, but his job was a true testament to that. Chuck created many life-long friends over the years and it’s easy to say that he will always be known as the “The Life of the party.”
Unfortunately, Chuck Horvath passed away due to after-affects caused by contracting Covid-19 in early July 2020. As many grieve over their loss, his family hopes that people see how impactful this pandemic can be. Practicing social distancing and wearing masks can save lives. Chuck’s visitation and service information is listed below for those who would like to pay their respects. Chuck was a wonderful man who was loved by many and will be remembered by all.
