

Charles graduated from Boone High School of Orlando, FL, where he played football and baseball and met his future bride, Mary. He was married to Mary S. Lewis on 10/1/1966.
Charles served in the United States Army for 4 years, where he earned the rank of Sergeant, E-5. He worked at Florida Gas Company where he drove and maintained gas trucks for 5 years. Finally, he earned his Mickey Mouse ears at Walt Disney World where he retired after 39 years, mostly working in kitchen maintenance, by fixing large rotisserie ovens, popcorn wagons, etc. He retired from Disney in 2010. One of his children's favorite Disney memories was their Take Your Kids to Work Day, Behind the Scenes Disney Tour!
Charles had a passion for his family, friends, fellow church members, and co-workers. He coached his nieces in softball, his son in soccer, and was a proud cheerleading dad to his daughter. His hobbies included: his NASCAR collection, miniature train set, building plastic models, watching western movies, and loved Gaither Gospel music.
Charles is survived by:His 2 children and their spouses: Son, Glen S. Lewis, and daughter-in-law, Silvana J. Huayamares. Daughter, Francine N. Lewis-Pavolini, and son-in-law, Brandon Pavolini. His 5 grandsons: Caleb, Jaythen, Trevor, Jeremiah, Brantley, and 1 granddaughter, Maycie.
Charles is preceded in death by:His father Charles E. Lewis Sr, mother Minnie L. Lewis, and sister Minnie C. Lewis.
He is reunited in Heaven with his Beautiful Bride, Mary, of 57 years. Praise Jesus!
Charles’ service will be held at his home church: Faith Assembly of God 9307 Curry Ford Rd. ,Orlando, FL. 32825 Stephens’ Chapel, near parking Lot 4 Friday, August 8, 2025 at 6pm. Reception to follow at 7pm. The service can also be viewed via live stream at : faithassembly.org/live
