My beloved mother was born on 26 October, 1916 in McDowell, Kentucky. She left this world on 17 October, 2011 at 1:50 PM. Her father was Manville Meade and her mother was Eva Gibson Meade. She was the second oldest of six children. She had three brothers and two sisters. The oldest child was her brother Foster Meade (deceased). Her other brothers Lloyd and Roy are also deceased. Her brother Roy was killed in action on Iwa Jima. She is survived by her two sisters Bonnie and Cuba.
She had one son Robert Harnish. She was married to Henry Christian Harnish (deceased). She is survived by her son, four grandchildren, Lauren, Kristin, Jennifer, and Bobby. She also is survived by seven great grandchildren, Sebastian, Gabriel, Monica, Valentina, Emilia, Javier, and Andrew.
Her life is not only remembered by her family. Her light is carried in the minds of greater than six thousand students she instructed during her 40 year teaching career.
