Christine SmIth, age 85, passed away on July 16, 2021 after surviving three cancer surgeries beginning in 2000. She was born in Macon, Georgia on March 24, 1936 to Charles Venton Smith and Hattie Easter Fields Smith. She graduated from Boone High School in 1954 and went into banking that same year as a teller at Orlando Federal Savings and Loan. She eventually became Head Bookkeeper and then assistant treasurer at Dade Federal Savings which became Great Western Bank. She retired after 37 years. After the bank she worked in retail part time for several years.
She is survived by her niece Judith K McCauslin, her husband Harlen L McCauslin and their daughter Kaylee McCauslin. Great nephews Steven A Glover, wife Sue A and great great nieces Cheyenne S and Cierra A Glover. Great nephew Jeremy M Glover. Great nephew Travis M Smith, wife Rachel A and great great nieces Taylor A and Reese. Other survivors include cousins in Florida and Georgia.
She was predeceased by her brother Charles Calvin Smith and nephew Charles Michael Smith.
