

Clarence Wesley Wint was born to the late Theophilus and Christylin Solome Wint on April 23rd 1935 in Trelawney Jamaica West Indies. On October 13, 2012 the Lord decided it was time for Clarence to rest a little while.
Clarence grew up in Jamaica with his four sisters and two younger brothers. While living in Jamaica Clarence worked in Construction for several years. In 1963 he met the love of his life Ms. Vinnette Phyliseta McIntosh who first migrated to the United States. Upon her return to Jamaica, she and Clarence exchanged vows and were joined together in Holy Matrimony on July 19, 1969. Clarence and Vinnette enjoyed 43 good years of marital bliss.
In 1971 Clarence migrated to the United States where he and Vinnette lived in Westbury, Long Island for twenty-four years. While living in Long Island, Clarence worked as an apprentice for Great Eastern Printing Company and Penny Savers USA for many, many years.
Clarence finally retired in 1995 and moved to Orlando, Florida with his wife and younger daughter saying “it was time to get out of the cold”.
Clarence has been a faithful member of The Holy Family Episcopal Church on Hiawassee Road. He has a great passion for God, the bible and his family. Clarence also had a great passion for gardening and home improvement. He would spend several hours outside tending to his yard and then came indoors to look about the beauty of home. His home was truly his castle where he was king and his lovely wife his queen.
Clarence leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Vinnette; son Patrick of Brooklyn, New York; two daughters and a God-daughter – Doreen of Fort Lauderdale Florida, Francine of Gaithersburg, Maryland and Candace Mitto (God-daughter) of Westbury New York; four sisters – Clarice of England, Pearl of Jamaica, Ruby of Brooklyn New York, and Esna of Miami Florida; two brothers – Austin of Brooklyn New York, and Milton of Ontario Canada; eight grandchildren, a host of nieces & nephews, other family members and many, many close friends.
