Claudette "Elaine" Carter, age 63, of Ocoee, Florida passed away on January 21, 2012 in Orlando, Florida. She was born on February 13, 1948 in Kingston, Jamaica to the late Harold and Cynthia Williams. Mrs. Carter retired from Con Edison Utilities as the first female manager. She and her beloved husband of 28 years, Rev. Joseph A. Carter founded the Church of the Living God, Gotha, Florida. Elaine enjoyed attending church, shopping, traveling and spending time with family. She is survived by her sons, Elliott Earle, Robert Vazquez and Justin Vazquez; brothers, Noel (Danny), Winston, and Bertram (Bert); sisters, Joyce, Jean (Peggy), Shirley and Sandra (Dahlia) ; one grandson, Jayden Vazquez; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews which she cared for dearly.
