

Conrad Stanley Kilian Sr., age 86, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024, in Winter Park, FL. Born on September 29, 1938, Conrad, affectionately known as Connie, was a man of remarkable presence, both through his personality and his physical stature. He was known for his intelligence, humor and loyalty to his family, friends, country and community.
Conrad's love for the outdoors was profound. he often spent time fishing, hiking, kayaking, and enjoying evenings around the campfire. His affinity for animals was notable, with a wild bluejay famously perching on his shoulder while he tended to his cattle ranch in Tennessee.
His professional life began in 1966 at the Orlando Police Department, attaining the rank of sergeant and later transitioning to the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation as an undercover narcotics sergeant where he was recognized for his bravery. He retired in 1989, dedicating his later years to cattle ranching before moving back to Orlando in the early 2000s.
Conrad served in the Army as a Military Police (M.P.), receiving an honorable discharge on October 31, 1967. His dedication to service continued throughout his life, impacting many along the way.
Conrad is pre deceased by his beloved wife, Virginia (in 1985), his mother, Stella and his father, Conrad.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Sabatino and her husband, Anthony; son, Conrad Jr. and his wife, Nelly; grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth Prescott and her husband, Adrian, and Conrad, III and his wife, Andrea; and great granddaughter, Freya, his ex wife, Norma and her daughter and her four children. He also leaves behind his brothers, Alfred (Margie) and George (Sandy), and sister, Loretta, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 29th at 5pm at FOP Lodge 25, 5505 Hansel Avenue, Orlando, FL 32809. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that charitable donations be made to "Take a Kid Fishing," a charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of underprivileged and fatherless kids through mentor-focused fishing excursions, (www.takffl.com).
