Cora Lucille (Lucy) Mitchell

Cora Lucille (Lucy) Mitchell, 85, of Titusville, FL went to be with her Lord on December 27, 2013. She was born to the late Roy K. and Dillie Nation on August 12, 1928 in Sylva, North Caroline. Lucy is of Cherokee decent being from Nations Creek in NC. She was a woman full of faith and a member of the United Pentecostal Holiness Church. Lucy was a floral designer and earned her certificate in floral design and cake decorating. She was always a very proper and classy lady. Lucy was married to Ray Mitchell (2012) and together they made many wonderful memories and raised their two girls, Patricia Ann and Sue Ann. Lucy will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her but are now glad she is at peace and no longer suffering.

Lucy was preceded in her passing by her parents and her husband Ray.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Phillips and Sue Ann Mann; her sister Vera Cyrus; 6 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:15-11:30am on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL, 34734. Service will take place at 11:30am, Burial to follow Service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
