Daniel J. Celia, 68, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away and entered the gates of heaven on March 30, 2022 surrounded by his wife and 2 daughters. He was born in Springfield Pennsylvania on December 30, 1953 to his late parents Frank G. and Rosemary (Marron) Celia.
Dan and his wife moved to Winter Garden, Florida from West Chester, Pennsylvania in May of 2021. He attended school in Springfield, Pennsylvania and then entered the United States Navy in 1974. He served his country with pride until 1978. Upon returning from military service, Dan completed a degree in Business and a Masters in Theology. From 1978 until 1997 Dan started businesses and held numerous jobs as a tradesman. In 1997, he began developing his radio ministry, Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries, which continues and is flourishing through the present day. What started out as one radio station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania grew into a nationally syndicated program on over 650 radio and television outlets.
Dan married the love of his life, Yvonne Tomassetti, on October 4, 1980. Through the years, they traveled the world together. Dan had a passion for the Word of God, horses, fishing, his dog Ruthie, conservative politics and his family.
Dan was survived by his wife Yvonne of 41 years, daughters Ann Barrovecchio (Matthew) and Jeanne Hester (Krunti); his 8 grandchildren-Lucia, Johnnie, Jameson, Tommy, Andy, Lennox, Simon and Montgomery; his sisters Diane Murphy (Dennis) and Judy Baxter. He was predeceased by his brother Frank Celia.
Celebration of life services will be held at 11 am April 9, 2022 at First Baptist Church Winter Garden, Winter Garden, FL and 11 am May 14, 2022 at Christ Community Church in West Chester, PA.
