Daniel Guillermo Schambon

Daniel Guillermo Schambon, 66, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2023. Daniel, fondly known as Dani and Danielito, was born to Irma Beatriz Rodriguez and Pedro Daniel Schambon on June 1, 1957 in Bucaramanga, Colombia.

In 1978, he left Colombia for the United States in search for opportunity and began his professional career in the Transportation industry. He eventually embarked on his entrepreneurial journey and opened Inter Florida Tours in Miami, Florida. Years later, he owned P & S Transportation based out of Central Florida. His established success in the transportation industry allowed him to retire at an early age and enjoy his life to the fullest, living with no regrets.

During his retirement, he turned to boating and became a Captain. He had a passion for cooking, traveling the world, going on cruises, making people laugh, attending live sporting events and concerts, watching Futbol all day every day, especially la Seleccion Colombia, FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi.

He was an incredible father to his daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie, and encouraged them to live life by YOLO, which stands for You Only Live Once. Daniel was predeceased by his youngest daughter, Stephanie. He was the devoted father to Jennifer, former husband to Clara, father-in-law to Francisco, and also loved to spoil his furry grandsons, Tigger and Teddy. He is also survived by his parents, Irma and Pedro, along with his siblings, Cristina, Michel, Pedro, Jessica and Mario Andres, and his nephews and nieces, Dayana, Christian, Brigitte, Nicole, Nicholas, Silvia, and Carey.

A funeral mass for Daniel will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 12600 Marsfield Avenue, Orlando, FL 32837. Following the funeral mass will be a a celebration of life from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
