David Randolph Brooke, age 73, of Apopka, FL passed from this life on August 1, 2024 after a year’s courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 5, 1951 in Washington, D.C. of the late Thomas M. Brooke and Delphine M. Brooke. Dave was a quiet, private, fiercely independent individual who was content relaxing at home and enjoyed tackling intricate logic puzzles of all kinds. He built a computer from a kit before anyone knew what a computer was. His most remarkable trait was that he just never complained. Most of his career was as an electronics technician and he was also a ham radio operator. He is survived by his brothers, Thomas of Griffin, GA, Christopher of Orlando, FL and James of Cumming, GA.
