David A Hall

David was the husband of Billie Jean Hall. They shared 63 years of marriage together. Born in Kingston, Ohio, David was the son of Jessie and James Hall. He graduated from Miami University, Oxford Ohio, He served in the United States Army from September 1951 to September 1953. David was an instructor in the Department of Physical Education at the Clearwater Campus of St. Petersburg Junior College, for 24 years.

Jean and Dave raised their family in Clearwater, FL and moved to Orlando in their retirement years.

Dave was known for his outgoing personality, jokes and pranks. He knew everyone and never met a stranger. He met Jean when they were both counselors at a summer camp in Wisconsin.

He is survived by his daughter Cindy and husband Richard Jackson and sons Mike and wife Lisa Hall, Jeff and wife Laura Hall. Grandchildren, Adam Jackson and Lindsey Sloan, Chris and David White, Ryan and Kelly Hall .His Great Grandchildren, John David and Ellie Jane White and Addison and Stella White and River Hall. His Sister, Mary Block.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jean, his parents and his siblings, Wanda, Lita, Alma, Charles and Edward.

The funeral and committal services will held on Thursday August 12th at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha FL. 34734. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am followed by the service and committal at 11:00 am.

The family would like to thank Dave’s many care givers. Dave was loved dearly and he will be missed. May he Rest in Peace.
