David W. Jarrett, age 83, of Orlando, FL, passed away on April 1st, 2019. He was born in Richwood WV on May 20, 1935. Dave graduated from Ligonier Valley High School in Ligonier PA in 1954. He was married to Alice M. (Stouffer) Jarrett on October 21, 1955. They were married 63 years.
Dave was self-employed for most of his adult life. He was a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Taft since April, 2000. He also had a great passion for auto racing and flying small airplanes. He was an active member of the Daytona Antique Auto Racing Association (DAARA). He was the first DAARA member to attend all the scheduled races in a single season. If there was a DAARA race happening at a track in Florida, more than likely Dave was there!
