Delpha Mae Black, 97, of Ocoee, Florida passed away on November 8, 2018. She was born in Shepherd, Michigan on May 31 1921. She stayed in the area for her younger years, and Delpha graduated from Shepherd High School. She met the love of her life, Floyd Preston Black and they were married on April 6, 1946. Delpha worked for the Pure Oil Company, General Castings, McCassions Dime Store, she and her husband owner two Roller Rinks and faithfully worked for 40 years at S&R Sales Inc. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Stars, and Powers Drive Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved to crochet, embroider and garden.
Delpha is predeceased by her husband, Floyd Preston Black, and her bothers, Russel Kelley and Robert Kelley.
Delpha is survived by her children, Judith A Delker, Sharon B. Williams, her grandchildren, John Delker, Brian Delker, David Williams and Eric Williams, her great-grandchildren, Jonathan Dillard andAlyssa Delker, her sister, Mary Louise Smith of Shephard Michigan, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 9:00am at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Gotha Florida.
