He married Frances Eulene Spivey on August 3, 1973 and shared almost 53 years of marriage with her.
Dolan worked in a warehouse as a manager for Rinker Materials. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Frances Spivey, his sister Darline Spivey, his children Jennie Hurst, Sherry Quigley, Charlene Padgett, Dolan Spivey II, Wayne Brown and Scott Brown. He is also survived by the many grandchildren and great grandchildren he had, some of them being Dalten Spivey, Jennifer Shaffer, Jason Quigley, Larry Lurst, Phillip Lurst, Randy Padgett, Miranda Cinicola, and Nikki Petterson.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on August 28, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on August 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Cremation Gardens, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734, US, on August 28, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
